Position Description

A community services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their staff at one of their group homes in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm
  • Setting: Group Home

Responsibilities:

  • Providing oversight for medical appointments and ongoing medical issues
  • Monitoring and coordinating health services
  • Training and overseeing staff in nursing-related tasks and documentation
  • Monitoring care during hospitalizations
  • Overseeing delegated nursing functions

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience with IDD and/or Group Home populations
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • NYS Registered Nurse license

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • OPWDD diabetes certification
