Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Infusion Therapy

Location: Clifton, NJ 07011

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Travel Required: Yes, for coverage purposes (Bayonne, NJ); no travel between locations within a single shift

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide infusion therapy services in a clinical setting, ensuring safe administration of medications and patient monitoring. The role includes patient education, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to support coordinated care. Travel may be required for coverage at nearby locations.

Essential Responsibilities

·Start and maintain IV access and ensure proper line care

·Administer infusion therapies safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions

·Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, and self-care practices

·Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and timely

·Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and team members to coordinate care

·Maintain infusion equipment, supplies, and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

Education

·High School Diploma or GED – Required

Licensure & Certification

·Active LPN License – Required

·IV Certification – Required

Experience & Skills

·Experience in infusion therapy or similar clinical care setting – Preferred

·Adaptability across care settings

·Strong teamwork and communication skills

·Ability to manage multiple patients safely

·Knowledge of current best practices in infusion care
